Members: The Suncook Valley Chorale is a non-auditioned community chorus. Part of our mission is to perform quality music for the Concord New Hampshire area. In order to continue to attract listeners and talented singers we strive to continuously improve the quality of our performances. To meet this objective the Chorale asks its members to make some commitments to the group: for example, to pay $40 in dues (for your music) each term (we will make arrangements for members who would find this a financial hardship); to miss no more than three rehearsals; to learn the music; to attend as many sectionals as possible – in summary, to participate fully in the Suncook Valley Chorale. In exchange, we promise you challenging music, a friendly, supportive atmosphere, and lots of fun! We really DO Sing for Joy!
UPCOMING: Our Spring concerts will be held on May 21 and 22, both at 7PM at St. John the Evangelist Church in Concord, NH.
The program will include Charpentier's Te Deum, a portion of a Bach Cantata ("Our Strongest Castle") in English and the premier of a new work based on the 139th Psalm, and composed by our Director.
